UNIVERSE TITLEHOLDERS’ COMPETITION APPLICATION FEES AND DEADLINES

Applications for 2024 are officially open!

Are you ready to begin the journey of a lifetime?

**If selected you will be required to pay a sponsorship fee of $3500 Dollars which can be paid by yourself, family/friends, or a business sponsor with include a logo. You are required to make all travel and accommodation arrangements.  All fees are non-refundable. Please consider your financial position before embarking on the journey such as travel, accommodation, outfits, etc.

Please note that shortlisting can take up to 4 weeks. We will notify you when we begin processing your application.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high volume of applications, shortlisting is based on the quality of your application - treat your answers like a job interview. Incomplete or inadequate applications will not be considered for shortlisting.

  • Coupons, Gifts from our Sponsors, Discounts from Vendors, and Goodie bags at Orientation.

  • Official Group Outing Ticket for Event & Activity

  • Official Photoshoot & Group Photos

  • Official Universe Photo Gallery Access to Pictures.  Photos to include Official Outings, Orientation, Candids, Behind the Scenes, Competition Photos, Swimsuit Photoshoot, Tuxdeo PhotoShoot, Interviews, Opening Number, Prelims (if applicable that year), and Finals.

  • 10 Edits per Universe Titleholder.  Additional Prints and Upgrades are available for more Edits.

 

The entry fee does NOT include:

  • Travel Expenses

  • Meals

  • Lodging or Hotel Costs

  • Competition Wardrobe

  • Program Book Ads (Optional)

  • Personal Expenses

  • Opening Number Dress

  • Official Pageant DVD (Optional)

  • Photo Package Upgrades

 

Application fees to enter an International competition vary per state. You can find the list of Universe directors HERE. If you compete and win your Universe pageant, you will receive the Universe sash and crown.

Universe application fees, prizes, as well as additional perks available to all contestants, vary per state. 

If your Universe does not have a Universe director, you will have to participate in the MDU, MDBU, MDDU, MDGU, and Universe Titleholders’ Competition. Universe Titleholders’ Competition application early bird fee is $400 until May 31st, and $599 starting June 1. Application deadline: June 30.

MMGU's Universe Titleholders Competition application fee (for both MDGU and MGBU applicants) includes:

​

  • Entry into the Universe Titleholders’ Competition

  • One-on-one phone interview 

  • Local title and sash (shipping not included; the selection of the Universe title shall be granted on a first come first served basis)

  • Your headshot on MMDU, MDBU, MDDU, and MDGU website

  • Your 100-word bio on MDU, MDBU, MDDU, and MDGU website

  • A shoutout via MDU, MDBU, MDDU, and MDGUwebsite social media story (MDU, MDBU, MDDU, and MDGU’s official Instagram profile and Facebook page)

The payment of the application fee does not grant a Universe title automatically and does not enter the applicant into the national MDU, MDBU, MDDU, and MDGU competition.
