How it works.

The Mister & Miss Deaf Universe is a parent organization for Mister Deaf Gay Universe, Mister Deaf Bear Universe, and Miss Deaf Drag Universe. The competition begins with preliminary interviews that include swimwear and evening wear presentation shows.

These preliminary events are especially important as it will be the first time the judges and fans really get to know the contestants. The preliminary competition is the driving force in selecting the Semifinalists

The following activities will all be judged and the percentages as below will form the perfect score.

Contestants were scored in the interview, swimwear, talent, and evening gown; for the finalists, an on-stage question

Written Test: 15%
Personal Interview: 15%
Social Responsibility Campaign: 10%
Public Voting: 20%
Social Media Presence: 10%
Swimwear: 10%
Formal Wear: 5%
National Costume: 5%

People’s Choice: 5%

Top Ten Question: 2.5%
Top Five Question: 2.5%
